eatdixx's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- happy birthdays and smack
Last night was alberts birthday. Met up at a Mexican restauarant, a room full of people – I knew a handful. A general raucous kinda environment, quite claustro. linz was being quiet as usual, i felt like asking him if he'd prefer to be at home, or somewhere else. I skulled a couple of glasses of white wine and started enjoying myself immensely. i saw him sitting with some people chatting, my little heart soared. Meanwhile, wearing a large sombrero hat with a giant margarita glass in hand, albert swore a few times out of appreciation and we all toasted each other. Walked down to Moser together where we all got quite smashed. My belt caught onto a table edge and I stumbled around a bit, quite silly drunk. Fun! I tore a poster from the toilet door to give to the devil, met some people I’ve hassled on the internet, people started passing out and linz and I had a fight. He embarrassed me, in front of a friend. Finally got him into a cab and we sat in the back seat as far from each other as we could, sleeping. The cabbie woke us up when we were home, I don’t remember much after that. Oh yeah, I remember eating some tuna pasta and rolling a joint, linz went to bed and I woke up four hours later by myself on the couch in a cold, dark, foreign room. I hate it when good nights turn to shit. I like it here at hatties. It’s an 1920’s art deco style house with polished wooden staircases and floors, stained glass doors and windows. Upstairs is a music room and a great big bath, and out the back door is a large outdoor area with comfy couches, fairy lights and some plants. It’s great being away from home. Linz and I stayed indoors all day watching Secretary, Elephant; ate chip sandwiches and cuddled under the doona. We are house-sitting/cat-sitting for three more days. Tomorrow, I’m going to go to the fresh food markets, have a coffee and go to the st kilda music festival, meet up with Emily, go visit some of the men from the boarding house that have moved to the sacred heart annexe nursing home. I hope it’s sunny. part b. 11:04 p.m. - 2005-02-12 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
