I lost my mind for about seven hours. Kate was like my standby generator, she immediately took full control and steered us clear of disasters. Matty, down from Sydney for the night to party, went to the tote to see the night jugs with devil while kate and i worked at tism. we sold over 11 thousand dollars worth of tshirts over two nights. the fans were absolute fucken bogan cunts that think they've found something hip, cool and interesting. so they buy every tshirt ever made by the band. and then they WEAR THEM, AT THE GIG. don't they know it's dorky to wear a band shirt at that same bands gig? KISS fans do it. that should be enough of a clue. 20 days until i leave the country. anyway. on the weekend. after we all met up in the street and divided up the mushrooms, we walked to cherry. standing in line in front of a femail bouncer with a quiff bigger than Elvis' himself, i started to lose it. I had to hang on tight, in case they realised they were about to let a madwoman into the bar. Once inside, it was dead. scary scaaary big women dancing to metal, men with long glam rock hair and flannelette shirts ruling the dancefloor, with the occasional mod strolling through. escaping from the club to sit on stairs and wait for kate to have some shots to catch up, devil, mountie and i got about the job of completely fucking our logic and reasoning. fights over who kate was to go with in the divided cabs home. i was drowning in my own inflated ego. everytime someone said something, to my head it was always my name, they wanted my attention, for me to take control etc. they didn't. i am just egotistical to the MAXX. i felt like such an idiot. i had a great time. 1:17 p.m. - 2004-07-05 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
